Interesting blame shifting from The Kansas City Star columnist . . . The Star prints a (hilarious) story based on no evidence and it's somehow the fault of the KCPD and not journalists who pride themselves on research and fact checking.

ReplyDeleteKraske is a political hack who has no interest in facts, ideas, or proposals in a campaign. He recently wrote that he hoped the campaign would be "smokin' hot" and his crap about Hermann was his sad attempt to fulfill his own prediction.
ReplyDeleteReporters like Kraske has no interest or stake in the outcomes of these campaigns; he lives in Kansas for God's sake. For them it's all just entertainment, but the residents are left cleaning up the mess!
Deb didn't say it. Everyone contacted by Kraske (except Ortega, who wasn't even present) told him it wasn't Deb, and some even identified the person who said it.

ReplyDeleteRegardless of whatever Deb said, I am very surprised that no one has brought up Michael Fletchers racial tirade against KCPD officers on a traffic stop back a few years ago. One of the local news channels used to have the dashcam tape. Basically 30 minutes of him shouting racial slurs at the two officers. Classy right? To me that sounds was worse than any Capt. Taco remarks.
