Here's Statement Regarding Response to Fletcher Filing from The Sharon Sanders Brooks Camp:
"The principal argument adopted by the trial court and advanced before the appellate court is that Fletcher's representations made in and to California courts to the effect that he is domiciled in that state, together with his extensive contacts with California preclude his assertion that he is a qualified resident and citizen of Kansas City Mo. There is a reason our election laws prevent individuals from running in Kansas City when they live in Long Beach, California. There is a reason judicial rules prevent individuals like Fletcher from claiming he lives in California in one court to get his law license back while claiming he lives in Kansas City in another court to run for office--at the very same time. They are in place to protect the integrity of our elections, and our courts, from manipulation by people like Michael Fletcher. It is time for him and others to do the right thing and quit misleading the public in a desperate attempt to confuse and disenfranchise voters in the 3rd District."

Today there might be a ruling on a writ of prohibition to try and place on hold the judge's ruling until an appeal takes place.
