Hold on...didn't John L from Bottomline said that his sources told him Funk will win the election? Didn't John said that Tony was wrong in all his Funk hate because the people of KCMO love the guy...in the polls?
I guess all those polls John was talking about were from suburbanites who couldn't vote for KCMO mayor. Seems like the people of KCMO couldn't stand the guy...
I went to one of the Mayor Candidate forums looking for someone to vote for. After all was said and done, to my shock and surprise, Funk was the only one with substantive and cogent responses. Too bad everyone got distracted by Gloria. Now we've got two slick lawyers (both of whom have profited at the City's expense) going at it and I'm not sure which one will be worse.
I probably would've voted for Funk had it not been for Gloria - she ruined it for him. I wonder if his next employer will have to put up with her, if he has a next employer.
