Kansas City (Sorta) Stays Winning

KMBC: Kansas City Still Missouri's Largest City

Sadly, overall this town's population is down: Kansas City's new population in the official Census released Thursday is 459,787 . . . More than 20k less than previous estimates.

On the other hand: Kansas City has grown by 4.1 percent since the 2000 Census to 459,787 residents, the largest incorporated place in Missouri, according to the latest census counts.

  1. Only Tony could call 4.1% growth a decline. Also only Tony would imply this number accurate even though several articles up you say that the total number of Hispanics is always underreported.
