The Kansas City Lesson Of Annie Presley: Intolerant And Bigoted Blogging Precludes A Career In Local Politics

Annie Presley was poised to make a strong last minute showing in the 4th District.

She had powerful and pretty GOP friends . . .

She had lots of money . . .

She had expert advice.

In some of her photos she was even showing a bit of skin, a smile and near full body shot in a rather relaxed view.

For better or worse . . . IT WAS BLOGGING THAT PREVENTED PRESLEY FROM MAKING IT PAST THE PRIMARY!!!

The money quote was repeated constantly around the Internets, in local political circles and among so many other people . . . Despite the fact the media never reported it.

Here's her quote for the record . . .

"If Elena Kagan is confirmed, six of our Supreme Court Justices will be Roman Catholic and three will be Jewish. I find this absolutely astonishing. What I find further astonishing is that no one is ranting and raving about it. According to the Pew Foundation, 51% of America worships in a Protestant church, 24% at a Catholic Mass and 1.7% in a Synagogue. It’s almost unbelievable that not one law school in America is able to produce a Protestant qualified to sit on the High Court. Hmmmm."

So many stories about social media foibles used against youngsters or hurt their chances in the future. It's interesting to see it was blogging that bit Presley in her sweet GOP booty.

In the final analysis . . . Presley should have addressed this concern, apologized or at least explained herself. Also . . . While this defeat may not bode will for my political ambitions, I think the TKC campaign staff filled with busty, big booty women will help to explain my opinions as I eventually start my campaign for global domination.

  1. It's obvious quotas only apply to minority groups. What I find hilarious is if there were not a hispanic on the SCOTUS then TKC would go beserk. Do as I say...not as I do.

  3. I don't know, Tony. Those attributes haven't stopped a lot of Democrats from getting elected.

  4. Annie would have been better off with more pictures of her with the dogs, and fewer with Roy Blunt!
    Yuck!!

  5. Tony, this is exactly what makes you the premier cunt of KC bloggers. She was pointing out a demographic non sequitur on the court. OF COURSE those numbers don't make sense. But pointing it out alone doesn't make her a racist, any more than your constant harping about lack of Hispanic representation on local boards makes you a racist . . .
Oh, wait. I forgot, You are a racist, you little bitch.

  10. Facts are Facts. why don't you deal with FACTS Tony? Don't they work for you?? You just love the SHOCK-SCHLOCK don't ya? Scared of a Baptist or a Methodist on the Supreme Court? Perhaps a lawyer from MU or UMKC or KU. OMG!!!

  11. A robocall caused Crawford to win by 7% !!! HAHAHAHA!! Please.

Crawford and Glover won because Republicans suck at campaigning in Kansas City. Given that both Crawford and McGregor's teams were filled with Repubs the two leaders were a given!

  12. Anne Mcgregor's team did screw her over. 11%!!!!!!! ouch!!!

  13. Failing to put McGregor in the top two was just unacceptable. Talk about poor work.
