you gotta' chill with the "us vs them" mentality, dude. if you haven't heard, the Hispanic population a) has been increasing for decades and b) is projected to increase for decades, ad infinitum, nearly.

We need to stop illegal immigration now! Of course the regulars on this blog will argue that non citizens should be exempt from taxes, allowed to fly their flag while taking 200k from the county and have the right to vote with out becoming us citizens. Anything less than totally bowing down to the invaders is clearly us being "racist" against them.
ReplyDeleteYou need to envision a US in the future threatened by an increased world population of Islamic extremists hell bent on killing Americans. Only then might you rethink your racist and exclusionary policies and hatred against immigrants (especially Christian Hispanics). Many Hispanics, and a lot of them "undocumented" fought and died for this country in World War's One and Two, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and now Afganistan. Muslims will out number Christians in the world of the future. The anti-immigrant furvor is further isolating the US from the rest of the world at a time when we need strong allies. We need a thoughful policy with our Latin American neighbors in order to secure the future of this country.

For over 50 years, US policy has actually encouraged and looked the other way towards migrant workers because it benefitted the rich corporate agricultural concerns (it still happens). In addition under the table nation to nation policy has resulted in corrupt Mexican politicians suppressing its citizens in order to capitalize from American Corporate Interests (bribes). I will only listen to you when you use the same hateful tone towards those who hire illegals such as McDonalds, KFC, Tyson, many governors and politicians, Lou Dobbs and on and on. In many ways those who cross the border to seek a better life should be considered refugees. With regards to the drug killings on the border, this would not be as big a problem if Americans didn't create such a demand for drugs. And finally, I implore all of you, please learn the difference between the English word "came" and "brought". The dream act was to address those who where brought across as minors or who were born here. To despise these children as if they were dangerous hardened criminals is the epitomy of unwarranted cruelty. Should you be punished for the rest of your life for your parent's wrong doings when you were a child? Where's the justice in that? If you don't study all of the factors of an issue before you establish such a hard and cold stance, it is you who is a piece of shit. All I'm saying is that we need a sound fair and compassionate policy once and for all on immigration. Maybe we need to regard our immediate neighbors a little differently than say, immigrants from countries that are openly opposed to US. Unfortunately those who have stirred the hatred in you are representing alterior motives and not the basic principles upon which this country was founded upon.

ReplyDeleteThat's the consequences when you have shitbag parents who commit crimes. I guess these illegals don't love their children because if they did, they might consider the consequences of their actions.
Nobody is punishing them. Their parents are responsible for this. The US didn't do it. They never forced those people to break the law.
I'm all about compassion. We'll pay for a one way ticket back home. That's pretty generous if you ask me.
So, 4:59, tell me how you were able to choose your parents? You must have god given powers. It sure does sound like it, since you seem to be ok to pass judgement like you do.
