The Star reports on the local state of forgiveness: "Kansas City police recovered 20 shell casings at the scene of a shooting that injured an 18-year-old man Wednesday near 67th Street and Walrond Avenue. The victim, who suffered a chest wound, had 4.5 grams of crack cocaine in his pants pocket and told police he didn’t want to prosecute."
