Too soon?
Initially, I didn't even want to link a story about a dead frozen baby because there's absolutely nothing funny about it but I figure the circumstance is too horrific to ignore and pretty much sums up life and the lack of respect for it in Kansas City right now.
The baby Jesus ice sculpture was the first image to come to mind and I guess it's a statement of sorts . . . I don't know exactly what it's saying but that's okay.
Nevertheless . . . Despite the fact that the Popsicle baby is horrific, tragic, sad and sorta depressing . . . It also sucks because it means there's not much left to shock this town.
Kansas City murders continue unabated, the political circus is reaching critical mass and the local economy continues to be a cruel joke . . . The Kansas City Popsicle baby is really just a period at the end of a sentence of a crappy week.
