In my relentless pursuit of the scoop I often forget that sometimes people want both sides of the story.
To wit, by now we all understand that 4th District At-Large GOP Candidate Annie Presley gets pissed when there are too many Catholic and Jewish people taking up space.
But, we didn't learn until today that she has very powerful and important African-American friends.
The more you know . . .
Hell, she didn't even list this fact on her website.
So, in the interest of fair play we must show Annie hugging Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver.

ReplyDeleteThis is just a "political junky". Kinda like the girl in high school that doesn't quite fit, but still wants to hang with the "cool kids". These photos are available to anyone that wants to pay whatever the event is charging for a photo.
ReplyDeleteThis particular "political friend" barely won his last re-election against an underfunded unknown. He has about as much in common with residents of the east side as she does.
ReplyDeleteAnnie doesn't understand that lots of just regular folks vote and they mostly don't much care who she gets her picture taken with. Her campaign looks like she thinks she's running to be president of the Ward Parkway garden club!

ReplyDeleteI like how her photos with GOP'ers make her evil but the ones with Cleaver are totally not legit. Let me assure you, there is a typical for hire politician in that photo and it isn't Presley. Cleaver is the establishment. more so than most of his fellow Crats and Pubs.
