TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! MORE PORT AUTHORITY MUD SLINGING!!! CHECK WILLIAM SESSION DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES!!!

If there is gonna be mudslinging on this Port Authority hot mess, it might as well happen on TKC too!!!

To wit, check the helpful note that was sent my way in the afternoon:

The title: William Session delinquent on 2008, 2009 & 2010 property taxes

Check the text:

"The attached document outlines the facts of Mr. William Session's choice to not pay local taxes.

bought the house on holmes 5/16/2008 and had to pay taxes to get the mortgage. Once he got the mortgage he hasn't paid taxes since!
2008 - delinquent $17,655.13
2009 - delinquent $15,327.10
2010 - delinquent $13,127.78
for a grand total of $46,110.01

Geesh, you would think living in a $750k house near the nelson and steering a $9.7M contract to yourself you would have the decency to pay your property taxes!

Keep up your terrific work Tony."

Of course I checked the Jackson County tax payment records and the info checks out, you can do the search yourself if you'd like: Just look at the tax search and payments.

Fair game: Somewhere in that database you'll find a crappy credit card that I took out in college and then didn't pay till they sued me. But I digress . . .

Look at this:

This was the most important part of the match-up to TKC TIPSTER info . . .

It's all so very interesting. Sadly, nobody told Mayor Funky that rolling in the mud on the Port Authority thing will get him dirty as well and points to his overall lack of leadership throughout his tenure. This could be the WORST election issue in Kansas City modern history but that pretty much defines this political epoch right here in River City.

  1. "If there is gonna be mudslinging on this Port Authority hot mess, it might as well happen on TKC too!!!"

I guess this is as close to even handed reporting as we get on TKC?

  2. Sounds about right.

  3. This is just another example of corruption in Kansas City government.
City Hall needs to be cleared out.

    Time to clean house.

  4. It is time to kick ass and take names later.

  5. Isn't it amazing what is revealed when you just take the time to inquire about the goings on in government contracting? So often, agencies like the EDC rely on the public's apathy or submissiveness in order to carry out these illegal schemes. If you don't now believe that a complete federal investigation is in order, you never will. If that's you, let me manage your bank account...you can trust me!

  6. Port Authority is a hot mess. They should not be separated from the EDC and the EDC should be rolled back into City Hall.
The leadership of the EDC is lacking. How does this help mark? He did all of those audits and now relies on "hunches" that come AFTER it smacks him in the face?
This guy will take credit for anything because he has done absolutely NOTHING.
    New year, NEW MAYOR.

  7. Give this poor guy a breadk! He made only $500K in ten months last year at taxpayers' expense. How can he be expected to pay taxes with so little income?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yes the well off live by their own rules. In case it isn't obvious.

And they are also pleased to announce there is nothing us unwashed peons can do about it.

  9. "Hot Mess! Hot Mess!"

    Check your pants, Tony.

  10. Unbelievable the amount of corruption in this City and City Hall acts surprised when Taxpayers vote to repeal the E-Tax. People are fed up with all the waste while their services are being cut.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Jesus the guy works for the City and doesn't have to pay his property tax. WTF?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Leona Helmsly said only the little people pay taxes. Looks like she was right.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I fail to see how not paying one's real estate taxes for three years makes them subject to a criminal indictment.

Tony tried to do the same thing with a tax bill owned by Ajamu Webster just weeks ago.

Is there any mental horsepower left in this town or is everything cast in shades of color?

  14. Be careful about what you ask for. What goes around, comes around.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Tony, so you are saying tax records determine where someone lives?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Um, I hate to say it but my personal property taxes are ALWAYS late! I am not rich and I usually have the money. I just forget to get it done before the end of the year! Some of us are better at some things than we are at others. I would think a wealthy person would have a bookkeeper.

  17. Well not paying taxes for three years worked for Ajamu Webster. He got a plum appointment on the Parks Board, New Tools cash and goodies from the school district, all while not paying property taxes to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. Why hold Session accountable when Webster has been sucking off the city's teat for years. Rules don't seem apply to everyone.

  18. Maybe he'll use the money to create jobs.

Note to Republicans: That was a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  19. This is why Kansas City Taxpayers are fed up.
As Citizens we're told to pay the
    E-Tax. Why?
The people for the City won't even pay their property taxes and City Hall wants to know why citizen don't want to pay the E-Tax.
Like how stupid can people get?
The crooks are at City Hall and they are fleecing the people who actually pay their taxes.

  20. I can't wait for the eTax to go away so I can pay for trash pickup and no bulky pickup. Can't wait to see fewer cops and firefighters on the streets too. Maybe the economy will pickup in Kansas with all those JoCo people not paying our eTax. I don't know where my retired parents who no longer pay eTax will come up with $240 per year for trash pickup.
