MEC Sues MO. Rep. Hughes Over Fines

The Star: The Missouri Ethics Commission today sued state Rep.-elect Leonard “Jonas” Hughes IV to recover $6,090 in late fees dating back to 2006.

  3. Hughes has lived off his family's name and the taxpayers' money for years and would have run for another office in the city if it hadn't taken any effort.
    The residents of the east side need to stand up, look around their neighborhoods at what the duds and grifters they've elected over the years have left them, and turn out in big numbers and sweep some new people into city hall.
