So, the people with the money to throw around at these candidates LOVE the status quo in Kansas City, correct?
ReplyDeleteI hope the average Joe's of KC get out and vote against the status quo. Something has to be done differently. I know I'm voting for those that don't seem to have the usual ties to this town.
Look at all the Republicans who are supporting Democrats.
ReplyDeleteTIF Baby TIF
ReplyDeleteTypical rent seeking Chamber BS. They either don't understand economics or don't care. Stupid or dishonest. Either way not worthy of any respect.
ReplyDeleteNo, actually they DO understand economics. Give piddly contributions and endorsements, elect a bunch of clueless losers who can be told what to do, and reap the benefits of the taxpayers' money for the next four years.
ReplyDeleteThe people who are being scamed AGAIN are the KCMO taxpayers. Talk about a bunch of suckers!
Deb Hermann's budget decision cost KC another $6 million
ReplyDelete"On the judge decision, Hermann may have voted against sending the panel but if she wants to be a leader she would have convinced her colleagues to vote with her. Is this the same weak leadership she’s offering as a mayor than kc should pass. On the latest discrimination judgement, this was a result of a highly ineffective cost cutting budget process the was largely led by Hermann. A process that doesn’t strategically address the budget issue and operational issues at city hall. Instead of continuing to put forward simplistic “across the board” budget cuts that Herman and the rest of the council have supported, which invite situations where good people are forced to be let go, they should have been looking to strategically cut wasteful and unnecessary spending and find operational efficiencies. But that approach requires some one with real work experience and more than a high school degree to understand - which as the self proclaimed city budget expert Hermann obviously does not have. "
