KANSAS CITY MAYORAL CANDIDATE HENRY KLEIN INTRODUCES HIS CAMPAIGN AND CHANNELS SEN. PAUL WELLSTONE!!!
The latest Henry Klein video introducing his candidacy is DEFINITELY worth a look for a lot of reasons.
It's a quick intro to the candidate and demonstrates he's pretty quick on his feet and able to communicate his ideas effectively.
It's fun and a bit campy without trying too hard.
Best of all . . .
IT'S HARD NOT TO BE IMPRESSED WITH KLEIN'S POLITICAL REFERENCE IN THIS INTRO VIDEO!!!
The Klein campaign explains it best:
"The video is as much an introduction to my campaign as it is a tribute to the last Senator Paul Wellstone. His first commercial in his first run was titled, "Faster Paced Paul" and did a great job of quickly introducing himself and the causes he ran on. Not everyone in Minnesota always agreed with Senator Wellstone but they always admired that you knew where he stood and that his positions were always principled. That's something my campaign and I can truly get behind!"
That's a pretty heavy reference that aspires to greatness which is quite different from most Kansas City Mayoral campaigns.
I think Henry is rapidly becoming the candidate to watch.
ReplyDeleteYet, before he closes the deal with me I need to see a clear picture of his wife wearing shoes.
I am not going to make that mistake again. No Shoes No Vote!
Henry Klein is DEFINITELY no Paul Wellstone. Hell, he's not even a Norm Coleman.
ReplyDeleteSomehow being president of his high school, what with its disappointing canned food drive, and being almost totally uninvolved in civic affairs until he woke up one morning in 2006 and decided he wanted to be mayor doesn't make him ANYTHING like Wellstone, who spent just about every waking moment from childhood on to improving the lives of the disadvantaged.
Apparently so.
ReplyDeleteWell that's 90secs of major suck.
ReplyDeleteIf the Chamber of Commerce and the employee unions don't endorse him he might get my vote.
ReplyDeleteI'll consider Henry, he doesn't seem like one of the usual suspects.
ReplyDeleteRemember when Wellstone first ran for Senate and said that he would do two terms and then go back to Minnesota for good because he hated career politician's and said that he was not going to let Washington turn him into one.
ReplyDeleteHe died in a plane crash right in the middle of campaigning for his third term.
Cute, but needs a wind screen!
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Someone named "Henry Klein" is running for mayor?? WTG Tony, reporting a non-story again! You rock the internet blog scene.
ReplyDeleteHe is a creep. A do-nothing who has not been involved in anything civic oriented. Plus he's way ugly.
