Take a good look at Ron Schieber who is part of Missouri's Republican Revolution that included fewer voters, more nasty fighting and all around disgust from the public.

Schieber is replacing the far more photogenic Jason Grill . . . A politico who tirelessly talked to his constituents in the Northland and earned bi-partisan support in a groundbreaking Autism Bill.
But Cable TV News and all around nasty tactics put the far more professional politico out of office.
The setback might be for the better given that Grill's talent could take him a lot further than the Minority Party of a po'dunk State like Missouri.
Nevertheless . . . I just wanted to do a straight up comparison of GOP Nasty . . .

Especially while Jeff Roe's blog is gloating.
Obviously, Missouri gets what it deserves . . . And the backward folks North Of Kansas City lost the opportunity to come out of their barns and would rather take a step backward.
How do you convince a majority of voters to support a group that wants to turn back to G.W. Bush's failed deregulation policies.
ReplyDeleteSimple: They outspent and won the propoganda war.
Welcome to Corporate Nazi America everyone.
It's NOT touch football. Jeff Roe, Inc. knows North or the river, all the way to Iowa. Jason Grill seems like a nice kid from a well connected family, but it's a TOUGH game. As for Bush, I SECOND THE EMOTION. That JOKER created one HELL OF A MESS. There is no Paul Volecker at the Fed and Obama didn't learn about this stuff setting in the student union bull-shitting.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't Talboy help Grill? Something in the water with the D's...
ReplyDeleteAlso, Grill outspent scheiber 100K to 25K. Out right rejected!
Scheiber will be a big problem. Watch and see.
ReplyDeleteSooooo when do these Paris style riots start T?
ReplyDeleteTony, your political knowledge is ZERO!
ReplyDeleteTony, your political knowledge is ZERO!
ReplyDeleteDidn't the aforementioned riots just start at the paseo academy?
ReplyDeleteSo overall, White people voted the best people on earth!
ReplyDeleteSo I guess there are still plenty of dimwits out there still believing in the big Red vs Blue Circus?
ReplyDeleteDo you think Obama will now stop governing against the will of the American people?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it. I don't think he has it in him.
Right next door to Grill defeat:
ReplyDeleteOpen-Borders Nick Marshall (MO-30) A Sitting Duck?
http://kansascitygazette.blogspot.com/2010/11/open-borders-nick-marshall-mo-30.html
Tony, why in the world would you support Grill when you know he has been arrested for sexual assault and twice accused of rape? Let alone the fact that he has achieved absolutely nothing in the real world--a lawyer for his daddy's firm, seriously? This is the type of guy who should be in office? He should be working at a fast food restaurant.
ReplyDeleteRoe's little blog makes it clear he's been one of the mischief makers in this room all along.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dweeb. He probably thinks this blog is about him. He's so vain. Tee, show the one of his big belly from now on when his Computer ID shows up on your comments.
Jason Grill has never been arrested, you piece of shit.
ReplyDeleteJason Grill likes to pung-dung little baby sheep. Now its against the law thanks to prop B, finally!
ReplyDeleteA loss of 17 house seats in Missouri is in no way a praise to Jeff Roe or the Republican Party. Local teabaggers organized better than he did.
ReplyDeleteWhat occurred yesterday was the result of inexperience, laziness and disconnect on the part of those in Jefferson City running Missouri's democratic campaigns; and those running campaigns from DC.
Did you get a call from Democratic leadership? Did you get a knock on the door? Did you see any major events being held in your area?
The answer to all of those questions is "No".
And Jason ran such a flawless campaign: Buy 5 billboards and find a bad pic of Ron. At least you're not bitter, Tony, you whiner.
ReplyDeleteGrill wins this seat back in 2012 if he wants. He wins the Senate in 2014 if he wants. He wins the 2nd city county district at large if he wants. Nobody went out to vote for Schieber...They voted against all Democrats. I am a Republican supporter and am more motivated than ever. Schieber is a complete dud. He is a joke.
ReplyDeletePeople like Jason Grill. He just became Sam Graves worse nightmare with the amount of support he received in his race in a horrible year. His recognition is higher than Graves in Platte County. He will run for higher office and forget all this local/state level stuff.
ReplyDeleteIf Grill had an R by his name this year he would have received 75-80 percent of the vote. If he runs as a Republican or an Indepedent in 2012 against Schiebs or 2012 against Graves he will destroy them. I predict a party switch from Grill possibly...
ReplyDeleteAnonymous that said Grill outspent scheiber 100K to 25K: That's just a lie - Republican Party spent 100s of thousands on this Schieber loser that will get nothing done for the state. But it wasn't about that; it's all about a Repub. year. Jason Grill will move on to bigger and better and this is a BIG loss of a bi-partisan voice for the state. 32nd district should be ashamed.
ReplyDeleteThe spending was about equal in this race. I think Schieber spent more when you consider all the outside pacs and HRCC money dumped into his district. He is a one termer if Grill runs again in 2012. No way he gets reelected. However, I think Grill will run for Senate in 2014 or City Council/Mayor of KC. His dad will run in 2012 against Schieber.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, you crazy ass plus 65 teabagging motherfuckers - when the day comes that we vote on euthanizing the elderly - and you know it will, I'm not going to hesitate to say "hells yeah!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for that insightful comment, 5:12. Are you sure you would be able to read the ballot?
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should start an initiative for a spay and neuter program while we're at it. And no, not for pets.
Maybe three strikes and you're clipped?
At least Jason can move downtown and live in a condo now... maybe he will file for city council.
ReplyDeleteJeff is a brilliant political consultant , look out to the incumbant city council members
ReplyDeleteGrill is 2-1 versus Roe. Kicked his ass in 2006 and 2008. He had nothing to do with this victory for Ron. Schieber is just another puppet for Graves. National tide helped him win by 1 percent. Wait till 2012 or 2014 for Grill if he decides to stay on the state level. No way he loses with higher dem turnout in presidential year. Schieber will get nothing done for his district and people have no idea who he even is...
ReplyDeleteMaybe Grill will run for Light Gov in 2012. The Dems need a Conservative Dem to run if they want to win.
ReplyDeleteGrill for Sec. of State.
