Clay Chastain For Kansas City Mayor

And here I thought this very important Kansas City Mayoral election wasn't gonna be any fun . . .

But Clay's running for Mayor without even bothering to get his petition signatures . . . Which is kind of ironic if you think about it.

Still, I guess he deserves to be taken as seriously as Mayor Funky and Co-Mayor Squitiro in his bid for power.

No matter what your opinion . . . He deserves the chance to comment in his own words.

Check the Clay Chastain Presser

Check out his designs for Kansas City

The election is coming . . . It'll be the only chance for the public to speak to so many political maneuvers.

With Jonas Hughes looking elsewhere, Clay should retain Chris Moreno and then make Chris chief of staff next year.

Clay's vision and Chris's political know-how could correct the problems that weaken this city.

  2. Can't say as I disagree with much in his presser. Now his doodle drawings, understanding of urban planning and actual ability rally people to a cause are a different matter.
Oh, what the hell, we have effed up this City already... Crazy Clay for Mayor!

  3. A good and energenic young man with knowledge of how the city works like Chris Moreno could make a real difference. I think the Clay Chastain connection is a long shot, but whom ever wins the Mayor's office should consider asking Chris Moreno to be Chief-of-Staff.

  4. I'm not sure connecting Chris Moreno or anyone else to Clay Chastain is a good idea. And what we desperately need is someone whho DOESN"T know or support the way the city "works" now!
    Next!!

  5. Chris is a very nice guy and you stalkers should quit lying about him.

  6. Will SOMEONE PLEASE find Chris Moreno a goddamn job, so he'll have SOMETHING to do instead of constantly sending comments about what a "great guy" he is and how the world would be saved if only he had a position of some importance?

    Jesus!

  7. How is it, with a so-called prestigious pyschiatric community in this town, that a Clay Chastain is allowed to roam our streets? It is way past the time to change his meds.

  9. Oh, and share some of those meds with Chris; I mean 10:28.

  10. It's very ironic, and I didn't even have to think about it. Maybe he figures people are used to writing names on pieces of paper after all his petition drives.

  11. Wow, and I didn't think we could do worse than Funkhouser! Can we get bumperstickers that say "Any one but Funk and Clay? Or how about "Funk Chastain?"

  12. "Funk is a four letter word"

  13. Whatever it takes, a silver bullet, a stake... I'm in for a 100.

  14. He should run for mayor of Northmoor.

  15. The citizens of Kansas City deserve Clay Chastain as Mayor, after all is all they want to do about Funky is complain and not do anything

  18. I was just thinking that he looked like my brother, Dennis Funkhouser, and then I read the comments ...

  20. Interesting how some of the psychos on this blog try to shift the subject of the post from one topic to a totally different subject - Chastain to Moreno. WTF.

  21. Some of the "psychos" on this blog might be the same people being discussed.

  22. Chastain needs to go sell crazy somewhere else. Kansas City is all stocked up.
