This is probably a much bigger deal than her expected win at the Forward KC Debate tonight.
Deb was busy last night rushing from one meeting to the next but she was nice enough to take time to pose for a TKC grainy pic with brothers Andy and Chris Lewellen. Support from this Midtown political powerhouse family is a BIG DEAL and just signal her ability to connect with the rest of Kansas City on the other (better) side of the River.

I went. It was a great event. Good energy, names you know in the crowd, Hermann's talk was good. Relaxes and fun, plenty of envelopes in the basket. I haven't been to any other fundraisers, but if this was an indication of her overall campaign, I'd say she's going to win this thing, and we could do worse. I would guess she's getting the Forward endorsement right now. Bet she looks good again next reporting period, too.
