Mayor Funky is online hoping to win re-election by default or because of a crowded field. Sadly, the Internet enthusiasm that existed for the failed Co-Mayor has now completely vanished.

In such a small town with so few people voting, even a couple of hundred views might be considered a success and anything more than a thousand views for a Kansas City political video is a hit . . . But Mayor Funky earned almost NOTHING for his latest online video effort aimed at some stupid snow day propaganda.
I'm not out of line when I suggest that the local Internet simply doesn't care about the Kansas City's Mayoral Race and our current Co-Mayor isn't nearly as important as a cat flushing a toilet on Youtube.
The citizens of KC are tired of the bully pulpit. They are looking for real leadership. The current retoric has grown tirersome and embarrassing.

ReplyDeleteIt will be won on ideas and serious public policy proposals which demonstrate the candidates' commitment and ability to actual run a MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT which is capable of providing services to the taxpayers who pay for, expect, and deserve the services that only city government can provide.
This campaign might actually have to be about ideas instead of pandering and rounding up all the little interest groups. What a concept!

ReplyDeleteOnce I took his picture and stretched it horizontally in MS Photo Editor and he looked pretty normal.
Mayor, City Council, and e-tax votes will be determined by who votes against the waste of 30 million dollars towards MAST pensions!!
