In the early hours of the day I mostly watch Fox4 Mornings in order to gaze at longingly at Loren Halifax . . . However, I was temporarily distracted by a rather gully mention from WDAF weather dude Don Harman.
Apparently, he was a bit distracted on set and recovered by proclaiming, "Hey, I don't just sit around here and read Tony's Kansas City!!!"
With is rather awesome . . . And was a reference to Co-Anchor Mark Alford's web viewing habits.
Considering all I do is sit around my mom's basement and think up excuses to link Jordan Carver and her many newsworthy photo galleries.

ReplyDeleteyes it should be the other way around... but somehow Tony is able to break a LOT of news in the metro through his well-placed sources. Not ALL of it turns out to be true... but much of it does... and the msm plays catch up

ReplyDeleteWell all know that TV stations are preoccupied with their competitors because not a one of them is staffed well enough to dig up the news.
ReplyDeleteToday's TV news is HIT and MISS at best and they know it. Mark can read Tony on the set in the mornings, knowing that Tony will put a link in to Mark's competitors news, if any.
Not that Tony is newsgathering, Tony's actually running a free TV market MONITORING service. And easy to check from the set during commercial breaks. Mark can't read the TeleprompTer and watch 3 other stations at the same time, now can he? So he relies on Tony who's busy as a little beaver during those couple hours in the morning when Mark's working.
Race baiting, NSFW pics, and making mountains out of mole hills is TKC. I do wish that T could dispense with these "uniqueness's"
