  1. Maybe...but makes one wonder why the previous owner didn't refinance the property and redevelop it, as they were the landlords since it was first built back in the 1970's. Seems like if it were a good/great business venture, they would have jumped on it. We'll see.

  2. I hope so there are alot of consumers who need local shopping....i need a foot locker, not one shoe specialty shop north of the river any more...WTF?

  3. Then later, the fickle shoppers will give up this strip mall zona look and want to go back to malls, especially in this temperature latitude.

Who knows, maybe people are just tired of the stores in there and tired of walking uphill to the doors.

Currently, the retail still is called A WallMall, where prices are cheap and you can buy groceries in the same place.

  4. won't be a wally world - there's one that's too close already. the real story is that the super tif money that was supposed to go for the antioch mall got hijacked by the baptist seminary down the road so a lowe's and an office depot could be built in the middle of a green field - just across from a home depot and an office max. ain't political wheely dealy wonderful?!
