Actually, Kansas City's Gay rodeo seems rather interesting:
The annual Missouri Gay Rodeo Association "Show Me State Rodeo" is this weekend at the Lone Wolf Ranch and Arena. The recent cover of Kansas City's LGBT Newspaper Of Record CAMP KC is about the rodeo with the drag queen Ginger Kay Belmont channeling Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke at the Sidekicks Saloon on Main St. There are free shuttle buses on Saturday and Sunday from Missie B's and a big after Rodeo party at Missie B's on Sunday from 4 pm with a mechanical bull.
