j.C. Nichols himself tore down many of the original buildings and built anew as the Plaza evolved and times changed. We cant expect to live in the past of the 1920's.
ReplyDeleteanon @ 8:34--if that's, in fact, true, and we have to do that, then the least they could do for the Plaza and the area and their own best, long-term interests is put up a new building that is also Mediterranean/Spanish in style so it goes with the rest of the area. That would be a terrific compromise.

Just move to KCK by the Speedway...lot of land,close to KCI,soccer stadium, Cerner, and a casino..; no hassles with any type of preservationist....
