AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS TAKE PICTURES OF MAYOR FUNKY ON THE PLAZA AND EXPECT HIM TO PANDER ON PROPOSED PLAZA BUILDING!!!
For the record, I'm giving Mayor Funky's son Andrew a pass despite the many pot shots he had taken at this blog. Probably because his defense of the failed administration of his parents was mostly an emotional response.
Anyhoo . . . One of the most talented and AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS I know recently sent in the photo featured above with some rather insightful commentary. Check it:
"I was driving through the intersection on the Plaza where the new building is being proposed, when what appears? Our doofus mayor and his equally goofy son. It looked like Andy was pointing out where the new building was going. Look for the mayor to pander some votes on this one. Here's your pic."
I don't disagree at all and TKC readers appreciate the glimpse of our opportunist Mayor getting ready for his next press tour that's already doomed to failure.

ReplyDeleteWell, I'll agree the mayor is a goofy looking lurch. Andrew on the other hand is a handsome young man. I've seen this kid up close and spoke with him. He's intelligent and easy to talk to. Mayor Funkhouser-not so much.

ReplyDeleteI find it funny that Kansas Citians can't put two and two together. Over the last year plus Kansas City, Missouri has had 1,000 plus jobs stolen to relocate to Kansas and particularly the Sprint Campus. Then along comes a law firm that has two offices in Kansas City, Missouri and wants to consolidate those offices in a new building on the Plaza (at 100% their own cost) and we want to rake them over the coals.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Kansas is kicking the butts of Kansas City, Missouri for jobs...its citizenry would rather have the jobs in Kansas than to have economic development happen in the heart of our city.

Those whores have been fucking City Hall and the tax payer for years as development attorneys. As others have previously said, this is a BAIT and SWITCH to get what they really want in another (can we say West Edge?)nearby location. You can sure they'll ask for tax abatement too since this move will undoubtedly create some sort of "economic hardship" for them since they'll have to alter or tear down the partially built frame of what's already there.

I agree that Andrew is pitiful. Not a guy who can take being slammed. Getting campaign funds as payment is pretty iffy. So, is he his dad's new shield? Now that is sad.

ReplyDeleteI think the family was out looking for Mom. She took off barefoot down Wornall. Only thing she had with her was her campaign laptop and fliers announcing Tara's upcoming bridal (?) shower. She left her meds on the kitchen counter next to the creme sodie. They are worried, but do not want to alert the media just yet.
