TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! ETHNIC ATTACKS ADS FROM CRYSTAL WILLIAMS!!! MEANWHILE, MR. PEANUT REALLY WANTS TO PICK KANSAS CITY'S NEXT MAYOR!!!

Jackson County is currently more exciting than it has been since Kathryn "Jabba" Shields was in charge.
Here are just a few highlights from today:
Reaction to the pricey adverts from Crystal Williams has been extremely negative and it looks like her latest video missive might be another misfire.
CRYSTAL WILLIAMS AND HER LATEST TV COMMERCIAL ALLUDE TO JACKSON COUNTY MAFIA CONNECTIONS!!!
It's a shame that a few Latinos are supporting this outright attack on Jackson County Incumbent Henry Rizzo's ethnicity that I would expect from the white bread reporters at The Star but is especially shameful coming from the Theresa Garza-Ruiz camp who have helped to prop up Crystal despite her lack of qualifications, experience or community involvement. Also, I'm a bit hurt . . . I thought TKC was the best resource for local ethnic jokes.
A trusted TKC contributor writes: "Just saw Crystal's new ad. It is brutal on Rizzo---says he is trying to give control of law enforcement in JAXCO over to his cronies. The way it is filmed you are left with the impression it is the Mafia he wants to put in charge. You'll understand when you see it."
Seriously, the "Mafia" connection is a low blow and just like so many accusations of "bullying" and "thuggery" they only represent the privileged worldview of Kansas City's political elite who have never encountered the real life embodiment of their ethnic and racially motivated accusations
Similarly, we all expected more money from Mr. Peanut to flow to Crystal Williams.
BUT THERE'S TALK THAT MAYBE MR. PEANUT'S GENEROSITY ISN'T ABOUT HELPING A NEWBIE POLITICO AT ALL!!!
The connection goes like this . . .
Mr. Peanut wants to pick the next Mayor. Obviously, so does Kansas City Star newsie Yael T. Abouhalkah because that's pretty much the brass ring for a local columnist.
However, Yael has it in for Rizzo (Maybe he stepped on his pocket protector, I don't know) and Mr. Peanut needs an ally at the so-called Paper of Record for the much more important Kansas City Mayoral Race.
SO IN YET ANOTHER KANSAS CITY NEGATIVE SYNERGY: MR. PEANUT AND YAEL ABOUHALKAH HAVE TEAMED UP YET AGAIN TO DELIVER ANOTHER HORRIBLE POLITICAL CHOICE BASED ON THEIR OWN AMBITION!!! REMEMBER, THIS IS HOW KANSAS CITY GOT STUCK WITH MAYOR FUNKY!!!
And still, I've been BEGGING people to tell me something substantive about Crystal Williams other than her experience as a lobbyist and there hasn't been a peep.
Let's hear her ideas instead of mudslinging that has turned ugly. What real changes is she going to make other than just repeating empty terms like transparency and citing her "ethics" with no record to back it up?
IF CRYSTAL WILLIAMS IS A BETTER CANDIDATE THEN SHE SHOULD TELL US WHY AND NOT JUST RUN ATTACK ADS THAT DON'T OFFER ANY NEW IDEAS!!!
The election is next week and Williams only seems interested in stirring up old school ethnic stereotypes rather talking about the issues that face the County.
Sadly, this isn't a break from the status quo and really just seems like another politico offering more of the same.
Developing . . .
This doesn't sound delicious at all.
ReplyDeleteMr. Cashew does not like this.
ReplyDeleteTony, here it is - you've waited a long time for it:
ReplyDeleteCrystal Williams and her family reside in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. She has a long history of working in the non-profit sector as an advocate giving voice to the needs of families and children. Crystal does so through public policy, public relations and non-profit management. It is this experience, nearly 20 years worth, that makes her uniquely qualified to tackle the issues needing attention in Jackson County.
Crystal currently works as a consultant through Policy Matters, a sole proprietorship in which she works to pursue public policies to improve the lives of families throughout Jackson County and the region. She works on the federal, state and local level to advocate for low- and middle-income families to have access to health care, early education and safe environments. Crystal has also worked to make sure that barriers are not put in place to keep eligible voters from being able to cast their ballots.
She has served as executive director of a statewide health advocacy organization, as vice president of a regional child advocacy organization, Partnership for Children, and recently as vice president of the management team for Swope Health Services and Swope Community Enterprises, a large community non-profit. She has also been the public relations manager for the second largest physicians’ organization in the United States. Her successes in public policy and public relations include helping to secure significant funding for women’s health services, increasing funding for foster care families, increasing funding for children’s health programs and working on legislation concerning the child welfare system and the work of certified nurse practitioners.
Crystal and her husband, Richard Speidel, are strong supporters of public schools and vital neighborhoods. Their son, Will, attends Foreign Language Academy in the Kansas City, Missouri, school district. Crystal and Richard are active school volunteers, serving as room parents and in the Booster Club. They believe in being engaged in their community and they also actively support the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association, Kansas City Zoo, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and other local organizations.
As a graduate of Columbia College with a B.A. degree in History and Government, Crystal has been active in the political process all of her adult life. She is an engaged member of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Missouri Affairs Committee, and the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus, having served on the Board of Directors and as the GKCWPC PAC Board Chair, as well as being honored as the recipient of the GKCWPC’s Pillar Award. She is also a member of Committee for County Progress and the Jackson County Democrats.
Sorry for the double post.
ReplyDeleteThere is some good stuff in her qualifications.
ReplyDeleteTKC, You ask for SUBSTANCE from Williams to counter Henry, but you don't ask for ANYTHING from little boy JJ. One can conclude its because you ARE a Rizzo cronie (there, that's not racist, its multicultural now with both of you) and are doing everything you can to help both Rizzo candidates. Prove to me otherwise......
ReplyDeleteSaying Rizzo has cronies and is mafia-like isn't because of a vowel at the end of his name, but because of his actions, duh.
ReplyDeleteTypical minority, always making it about race.
Where's the substance on Henry? Or JJ for that matter?
ReplyDeleteFact is, no one gives a shit about Kansas City/Jackson County Politics when compared to State and National politics related to Health Care, Relations/war about ISRAEL and IRAN and North Korea.
ReplyDeleteOr Economics related to BP and Big Banks. Makes this little county/city taxpayer ripoffs seem TINY BY COMPARISON!
My view... vote against ALL incumbants locally.
Vote against ALL incombants in the Fall Primaries.
And vote against ALL REPUBLICANS who will screw you every chance they get!
Rock on, Radioman!
ReplyDeleteits INCUMBENT. Stupid democrat.
ReplyDeleteHe got the "cum" right, though, didn't he?
ReplyDeletenot just that, but "in cum", to his ass. Just couldn't get his "bent" to work right.
ReplyDeleteTony Tony Tony. Never say "Mister Peanut" without saying "(Jim Nutter)" every time you use the phrase.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you such an idiot, Mexican! NO wonder Mexicans never amounted to anything! "Not an ounce of sense among you all! Estupido!"
Go spend some time with Joe Arce. He's vastly smarter than you are.
He's lived among the Europeans at Channel 4 and the cultures he's seen through his Betacam's eyepiece!
Maybe he'll teach you some street smarts which you clearly don't have, TKC!
Everyone - stop making Radioman mad. He's getting so rough with poor Tony that he's going to have his link removed from the blog.
ReplyDeleteNah. Tony like Radioman.
ReplyDeleteI link to TKC. IF he delinks me, its just a personal thing. Ive written him. He's told me he has no problem with me, despite my frequent adverse messages.
ReplyDeleteIN that respect, I'd suggest TEE has a tougher skin, is willing to deal with adverse views that MOST BLOGGERS, MOST REPORTERS can actually handle!
So frankly, boyz and girls, when I trash TKC, I do it with love and he accepts it because he's big enough to accept it! I think Tony is actually way bigger than most media types. And most media types are very, very defensive!
I think This MEXICAN is fairly studly and he's taught me that brown skin isn't just a matter of color, its also a matter of THICKNESS!
Discuss!
Uh, a mistype. Replace with:
ReplyDeleteIN that respect, I'd suggest TEE has a tougher skin, is willing to deal with adverse views that MOST BLOGGERS, MOST REPORTERS CAN'T actually handle!
Let's discuss thickness.
ReplyDeleteThe ethics of ethnic attacks is ethnically unethical.
ReplyDeleteThickness is the ability of CONFIDENT people to say FUCK OFF!
ReplyDeleteAnd not internalize bullshit criticism!
You are on fire today, Radioman. I wish I knew how to put a picture link in this - I'd put the picture Tony did of the firefighter union with the fox on fire.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are forgetting, Henry Rizzo comes from a brown family too, and his son likes it when someone brings it thick.
ReplyDelete"Thicky thicky thicky thick" -Nellie
ReplyDeleteGroan. Two awful candidates. Do we have a "none of the above" option?
ReplyDeleteActually, you do. There is another woman on the ballot in H. Rizzo's race, but she was put up to it by Rizzo. A vote for her is a vote for Rizzo.
ReplyDeleteTony how is this racist? You are in the tank for Rizzo. It's official now. That's upsetting.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Rizzo Latino?
ReplyDeleteTony, just admitt it - you're in the bag. Nothing racist at all about that ad. You're a Rizzo hack.
ReplyDeleteTony is holding on certain stories regarding Rizzo, while claiming this ad about the ex-con is racist?
ReplyDeleteTony is on the take. What a shame.
Tony,You sold out. A Latino who let's a racist dictate what he blogs. Just another cheap Rizzo buy-off. Nice job, Tony. Tony the Italian Beaner...
ReplyDeleteI just want to say that I take great offense to being called a "crony". I worked hard to earn my felony, and then be able to come back, a man of God sent to oversee the same funds I embezzled from. Thank you Henry for letting me oversee the Law Enforcement Committee.
ReplyDeleteI want to Dick-tate! Let me have one of those appointed positions you propose. I like "positions". Especially "positions" that Henry puts me in!
ReplyDeleteCrystal Williams has sold herself for now 20000 that a great reason to vote against her.
ReplyDeleteTony:"IF CRYSTAL WILLIAMS IS A BETTER CANDIDATE THEN SHE SHOULD TELL US WHY AND NOT JUST RUN ATTACK ADS THAT DON'T OFFER ANY NEW IDEAS!!!"
ReplyDeleteGee, Tony, so you're saying that Crystal took a play right out of the JJ Rizzo campaign playbook against Royster?
I was at the CCP when she tried this type of attack to get her over the top . You would think she would have taken a lesson, she lost . I am sorry Crystal no fan of Rizzos but not going to vote for you .
ReplyDeleteMr. Nutter selected his Mayoral Choice for 2011 four years ago: Mark Funkhouser.
ReplyDeleteMr. Nutter selected his Mayoral Choice for 2011 four years ago: Mark Funkhouser.
ReplyDeleteTony. Rizzo man? Seriously? Of all the people to give it up to you pick Rizzo?
ReplyDeleteFred ROCKS!
ReplyDeleteRizzo is just a thug without Ronnie DePasco. He has no honor and double crosses his friends. He double crossd Ronnie on his deathbed and for that I say...screw you Rizzo and the spawn you created. Neither one shall ever get my vote.
ReplyDeleteMexican's have more honor than that Tony. Kick this back stabber to the curb and let him get back to his pawn shop or whatever street scam he comes up with.
P,S, Doesn't he live in a tax abated neighborhood? Elected officials should not be allowed to do that.
