Two of my favorite things about TKC: Celebrating Lucy Pinder AND helping residents hold their local government accountable.
To wit . . . Thanks to one of many KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS . . .
SOUTHMORELAND PARK IS NOW CLEANED UP IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL!!!
Seriously, complaints to this blog were steady and demonstrated the hypocrisy of Parks Board Member Aggie Stackhaus when it comes for local parks messes from different crowds.
A rather awesome tipster writes: "Late yesterday a Parks Department truck finally showed up to remove the large mound of trash pictured in previous photos and then someone started to repair the soil for seeding of grass. Same with the block long ruts in the park from the heavy trucks that also torn up the park.
"Finally after TKC's posts about the mess the adults made during the Shakespeare Festival which ended way back on July 3 the Park Department bureaucrats started to repair the damage.
"Also I believe most if not all the grass is growing back at the Rockfest site.
"Gee can we the people rescue our parks from Board Commissioners like Aggie Stackhaus?"
Here is the photo proof:

ReplyDeleteOkay, no help this time.
You do realize, don't you, that Americans hate it when you 'speak' anything but English.
Спросите ее, если она имеет сестру.
a) this is cleaned up every year,
ReplyDeleteb) it is extremely doubtful--extremely--that this had anything--anything--to do with you, your existence, this blog or this blog's existence.
Really, you are not the center of the universe, Tony. Deal.
WTF? What do cold, Siberian breasts have to do with following the Boy Scout Rule: "Always leave the campground cleaner than you found it."
ReplyDeleteHaven't translated since college. I may be a LITTLE rusty, but I like where this MAY be going!
Yes, and the sun came up this morning, Tony. I can't decide which to thank, you or the rooster.
ReplyDeleteIt took them so long to clean it up Tony, I don't think you should be so proud.
ReplyDeleteI think the Russkie really is addressing his lustful comments to Tony...
ReplyDeleteI know: отсутствие ручек рыб
that was as close to 'no fishsticks" as Babel would get me...
