KMBC reports that the company running Plaza Carriage rides "agreed to a 5 day suspension because of violations including drivers allowing passengers to sit and ride in the front seat of the horse-drawn carriages."
On the bright side, there will be a week in the Summer when the the smell of hot manure isn't paraded around The Plaza. Sweet.

ReplyDeleteThose rides are terrible. Dangerous and at times fatal for the horses. The KC Plaza isn't Central Park. They are kept in deplorable conditions with no real grounds.
ReplyDeleteThey should check with Bill Nigro. He can bully the Council into giving a couple hundred grand to improve the shitty horses. He knows how to get funding for horseshit...he did it with the Trolley scam.
