TKC NOTE: It's okay to make fun of WWI because all those people died for nothing in a faraway, confusing conflict that nobody has ever really understood . . . Not at all like today's well-defined battles to defend The Nation.
Also, it was a long time ago and the tower at Liberty Memorial sorta looks like an erect penis.

OK then Tony, for a better understanding of the monuments history and symbolism, read, Lest The Ages Forget-Kansas City's Liberty Memorial, written by your buddy, and mine, Derek Donovan. According to the book credits, Derek lives and works in Kansas City Mo. If the monument's tower looks like a penis to you, then I have a feeling you've never taken an up-close look at it-or, researched its history.
