Kansas City Misled By Soccer Hype

In a media ploy more obvious than Lucy Pinder's amazing rack . . . The Vast Majority Of Kansas City Area Soccer Fans Were Played For Suckers On Sunday.

I'll make this quick:

Get Over It, The Wizards Only Played The Manchester United Practice Team.

Kansas City Proper Should Have Openly Despised This Match Given That It Was Nothing More Than A Promotion For The New Stadium In KCK . . . And that ultimately is going to screw over KCK again.

In the final analysis, just like NASCAR, I think soccer hype is just another undercover way white people can enjoy a sport that doesn't interest the majority of urban American minorities . . . And no, Mexican Soccer Day in this town doesn't count.

  1. With any kind of luck, we will someday get the NBA All Star Weekend here someday.

Cool, just like Vegas. We wouldn't even need any thugs to come in from out of town.

    We're savin money right there!

  3. Undercover way white people can enjoy a sport nobody in the city likes...your such a racist prick

  4. 43 states were represented by the crowd of 52,000+

this was great for KC, it was a way to show that Arrowhead deserves to be used for a World Cup match in 2018 or 2022.

no race was involved Tony, just $25 to park may be borderline structural racism.

  5. You hate everything, don't you?

  6. The Star makes us look like such desperate rubes here in the KC Metro...fake soccer games, recreational bike paths, American Girl tea parties to "help" Africa...why do we strive to impress outsiders with who we aren't...honestly, outside KC, those "NY/LA/CHI/TX/BOS/European people" don't give a damn... they are wrapped up in their own social climbing neurosis...the #1 focus in KC should be jobs...KC people want to work, are desperate for jobs, and the leadership here is much more concerned about how we look to the world through our "love" of soccer, or how we are "saving" Africa, or how "green" our bike paths are...get real and lets JUST put people to work.

  7. You obviously know nothing about soccer. Plenty of first-team players were on the field for United, as well as players in the first team squad fighting hard for a regular place. Nothing like a practice squad, you tool.

  12. Except for all the Latinos, Hispanics, Africans and Asians at the game...............

Urban American Minorities? Are Latinos, Hispanics, Africans and Asians not Minorities? NONE of them live in Cities, or This City?

Tony can't stand peaceful, diverse public gatherings.

    Your soccer hate is hilarious.

  13. Tony, I have just one question: "Huh?"

  14. You ever watch a bunch of little kids playing soccer? There are maybe one or two kids on each team that has a clue what's going on. The others are just running up and down the field.

    It's really a nothing game.

  16. 52,000 fans turn out for a soccer game in Kansas City. Take that football haters!

At least people around here are excited about one of the sports with a local pro franchise.

  17. Not a practice squad. Tony's a racist. It's old news. KC isn't that excited about soccer. How many people went to the 8 Wizards games at CAB? 60,000 total? A good portion of the fans were from 41 other states or St. Louis.

Pay attention. Tony's racist or disingenuous, at least, and KC doesn't like any team that doesn't win. Tell me I'm wrong. You can't. Bitches.
