By no means is the local murder rate under control . . . Yet another homicide to add to the rapidly increasing total offers even more evidence of this sad fact.

Police Looking for Suspect in Deadly Shooting
Kansas City police found a man shot dead in an apartment complex parking lot Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Avenue.
And KCPD wants more money so they can pay for more Police Officers sitting behind desks?
ReplyDeleteToo bad you didn't report on the drive-by shooting in Westport las Saturday morning.
ReplyDeleteDEar Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this news--news that much of the city's elite wants "swept under the rug." As you say, the city's homicide problems are far from being under control. Trend lines for 2010 are bad: First three months of year: 21 homicides. Second three months of year: 30 homicides. July 2010 (Month not over): 12 homicides as of today. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
