Kansas City Council Lady Deb Hermann Meets With Obama While Mayor Funky and Co-Mayor Squitiro Are MIA!!!
Prime Buzz is reporting that Mayor Funky and Co-mayor Squitiro wasn't seen anywhere near the big Obama political gathering yesterday.
Looking for recent breakups and divorced women who seem low on self-esteem on facebook last night I noticed that City Council Lady and Mayoral Candidate Deb Hermann earned a bit of face time with The President.
The meet & greets are mostly about PR but they're also a good indication about access and the ability to socialize and get along. Sadly, Mayor Funky hasn't learned much during his time in office.
At The Outset of his term Mayor Funky still wasn't able to make it close to Obama and once again in Kansas City NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!

ReplyDeletehe's a tall guy, so did as prominent as he could get, in some of the obama shots so it APPEARED he was there, but on the other side of the fence.

ReplyDeleteBeing at a lunch where Obama is does not = face time. She was just one of many attendees, I doubt she even made eye contact with him. Still the Mayor should have been there. Probably couldn't afford it. And I think Funk (who used to liken himself to Obama) has lost the love, because of Gloria. How about other candidates? Was Herman the only one to show up? I must admit she's working hard. I see her everywhere.

ReplyDeleteI agree that it isn't about face time, I'm pointing out that Tony described it as such when Hermann made no such claim. I was trying to give her some credit for being engaged with the remark about seeing her everywhere.

ReplyDeleteIt isn't everyday that our President makes it into town. The funk'd one should have made plans to be on hand. That is how polite, well bred people act. Sitting in a dank cabin with a squit can be done anytime.
I know that a Mayor Burke would make all visitors feel welcomed.

ReplyDeleteYeah, can I just say the whole "Deb is a racist" thing is old? I mean, if you have any reason to believe that she ever judged anyone to be good or bad based on anything other than their actions, I'm interested. But calling someone a racist just because they're white, is well, sort of racist. She worked to get rid of Wayne Cauthen, and he was black, but that isn't why she wanted him gone. Have you got something else??
ReplyDeleteHi, I just want you to know that I personally met with the President. Ok, so I was at a lunch with 45 people. But that still counts because I said hi to him as he walked by me. He ordered a Pepsi and nodded at me, which must have meant that he recognized me for my budget credentials. Nevermind the 1 billion dollar sewer problem that has led to 25 million gallons to spew into inner city rivers.
