  3. This should come out of the convention and tourism funds, not the general fund. If they had an extra $250,000 for an option on land for a 1,000 room hotel then they should have $500,000 for this.

  6. One of these days, venues like the baseball and football stadiums will end up in Kansas. Then Kansas City, Mo. -- once the major central city of this place called Kansas City -- won't have to pay anything, but they also won't HAVE anything.

    Then maybe KCMO will stop the whining.
