  1. Seems to me if a new downtown hotel was financially viable, a hotel company would BUILD one.

    Doesn't that make sense?

  3. Right in the article the departing convention people say Bartle Hall is not big enough..... so build the white elephant and they still wouldn't stay.... the logic of this whole process eludes me.

  4. Well...

It sound like Rich Hughes, president of the Kansas City Convention and Visitor's Association needs to get off his ass and run down to his bank to get a loan to build another hotel.

It's obvious that K.C. needs a new 1000 room hotel and that a guy named Rich should be the guy who gets rich from all that money that will be falling out of all those tourist's pockets.

    Yo Rich!

Get off your ass and start this thing today!
