TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! FORD TOUGH MISSOURI SPECIAL SESSION FEATURES GOP INFIGHTING AND BLAME SHIFTING!!!

There is a great deal of reporting and analysis regarding The Ford Tough Special Session of the Missouri General Assembly but a rather tireless and AWESOME TKC TIPSTER helps us put in all in perspective.

THE MAIN FEATURE OF THIS FORD SPECIAL SESSION IS NOTHING MORE THAN A LOOK AT REPUBLICAN INFIGHTING AND DISORGANIZATION!!!

"They should just come out and say that they don't have a consensus," claims one closely connected source.

Of course it's going to be a longer, harder session than anyone expected (pause). But GOP attempts to blame the tax incentives on Gov. Jay just aren't working if Republicans want to keep their "party of jobs" tagline. It's also somewhat interesting to see Ron Richard stick it to folks he wants to join in the Missouri Senate.

During this session, overall the Missouri GOP proves that "They want authority but not responsibility."

And that probably explains a great deal of the frustration and gridlock during Gov. Jay's Ford Tough Special session.

It's also why I'd like a German car.

  1. When I moved to KC years ago the major employers were Bendix, ATT, Farmland, GM and Armco Steel among others. American Century had a small office on the Plaza, Sprint, Cerner and Garmin didn't even exist. Employment will always be fluid, trying to save a bunch of high paying jobs in a dying industry is a waste.

  2. Ford just needs to ask for what the sports teams get. If Missouri wants to be major league and world class. Ford should not have to pay property taxes, utilities and Missouri should pay Ford to manage the plant. What is good for the sports teams should be good for a major league employer like Ford.

  3. This is a typical Kansas City liberal Democrat observation...just opposite of the truth and quite probably more accurate about the Dems than the GOP. Lib wishful thinking...
