AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS already informed us of the mass exodus at The KC Free Press . . . An effort heavily focused on marketing despite the unfortunate name choice that alludes to more community based journalism.
Anyhoo . . . Today, there's a quick e-mail floating around the net that demonstrates the local online effort is understaffed.
TKC highlighted the important passage. Check it:
"I apologize for the mass email, but I just wanted to let my contacts know that as of Thursday, July 1, I will no longer be the Editor of KCFreePress.com. Currently, there is not another editor in place, so please direct all editorial inquiries to the publisher, Jeff Henry. So, short on editors and suffering from a major brain drain . . . Yet another effort to dominate rather than cooperate with the local Internet continues to struggle.
