Once again Kansas City violence escalates as the temperatures increase. Most everyone in town hopes both trends abate:

ReplyDeleteDEar Tony: Thanks for posting!! According to KCPD website, we are now at 50 homicides for 2010--39 black and 11 white/asian/hispanic. At this point in 2007 we were at 41 homicides: 27 black and 14 white/asian/hispanic. So, surge of violence in black neighborhoods that began in early 2008 continues. ReplyDeleteWhile crime is down elsewhere in the US it's only going up in KCMO.
