Real hate in radio goes far beyond careerists spewing quasi-populist jargon. Thankfully, full-on racism on the Kansas City Airwaves can be rejected:
"Broadcasters don't have to air commercials from white supremacist candidate, FCC says"
The decision isn't really a free speech issue but part of an important requirement for equal time obligations:
"Mark Sableman said the Federal Communications Commission recently told the Missouri Broadcasters Association that write-in Senate candidate F. Glenn Miller isn't a "bona fide" candidate, and therefore doesn't qualify for uncensored access to the airwaves."
Thankfully, racists aren't great at filling out paper work given that ignorance is rarely confined to a single topic in the minds of the worst kind of reactionaries.
