Kansas City Pretend Poverty

KC Currents profiles a great local program that "offers adults a chance to play make believe and learn about a different kind of "real world": the reality of poverty. In a poverty simulation, participants are invited to take on the role of a person struggling to make ends meet."

It seems sort of like the reverse or logical conclusion of a trip to The Plaza where the assorted middle-class from around the area pretend they have money.
