Kansas City Pet Friendly Restaurants

For some weird reason, the topic of local restaurants gone to the dogs has been a major source of conversation.

The Examiner has some decent articles on the subject.

And the local version of Yelp has an extended debate wherein some foodies don't like food in their fur.

Again, I only prefer dog with my Korean food.

  1. That's gross, I for one do not want animal dander in my food.

  2. At our house, animal dander is considered a condiment.

  3. I bet you keep it right next to the peanut butter.

  4. Total agreement with 7:37. Keep your fucking nastiness out of my restaurant, grocery store, etc., or I'll be forced to blow my cigarette smoke directly at the pooch. Stupid pet owners.

  5. The new trend is to get papers showing your lapdog is a service animal. I have seen multiple guests come into my restaurant with their little toy dogs claiming they are service animals. This leaves restaurant owners and managers with very little recourse.

  6. I hate that shit, leave your dumbass dog locked in the hot ass car with the windows rolled up like the rest of us.

  7. I eat at several of these restaurants and haven't seen any dogs there. In fact I was at Marco Polos this past Saturday. Knowing that any place serving foods allow pets I will not go back.

Sadly I eat at Marco Polos regularly, but no more.

  8. all of the places named have outside eating areas, folks. Dogs are only permitted in those areas.

  9. 10:38 - bullshit. i've seen dogs in restaurants, grocery stores, etc., just 'cause elitist, entitled, "the rules apply to everyone BUT ME" assholes are allowed to get away with it over and over again.

time to start stomping the little pets into the ground.
