Once again, this Summer, dimwits from all corners of the metro will be blowing up themselves and parts of this nation in order to celebrate our Independence.
Apparently, there is no remedial course for chemistry available in various parts of the metro given the latest 4th of July Headline: "A house explosion in Raytown is caused by altered commercial grade fireworks." Sadly, this kind of stuff isn't that much of a joke considering that people were sent to the hospital and it put one poor guy in a coma.
Nevertheless . . .

Fingers, houses and maybe lives will be lost in what's not really the price of freedom but mainly the cost of living in a demolition-centered culture.
If you are not licensed to handle 1.3g fireworks, stay away from them. In order to shoot 1.3g in Missouri you need to hold a Missouri Pyrotechnician license. In order to buy 1.3g you need to have a type 54 BATFE license. It is up to you what you do, but if you do not have the creds to possess 1.3g you are going to see the jail real soon.
