Good. Better than having them on the streets, where they create hazards.
ReplyDeleteThese bike trails are for the suburban snobs riding the $1000 (or more) bikes and wearing the $100 jersies racing like Lance without regard for anyone else. These are trails for the elite and don't help the average rider who just wants to get from home to work or the store on city streets.
ReplyDelete10:37: You're 'bout right on dat.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Why do cyclists have to wear those stretchy pants?
ReplyDeleteThere's something loose in the heads of bicyclists who WANT to ride on the streets in the tight pants along with fast moving cars and semi-trucks.
ReplyDelete11:11, they're all lance wannabes. the pants, the loud colored shirts, the funky helmets, etc.
ReplyDeletethey look like aliens to me, and like aliens they don't seem to know the rules of the road either. especially when they ride three abreast and take up a lane of traffic.
You all sure can't read very well. Open your minds instead of your mouths. these are mountain bike trails thru the woods, not on streets. no stretchy shit here. The only reason Tony doesn't like them is he is too fat and too lazy to ride a bike. The same reason he is always bagging on the zoo, he's afraid he will be mistaken for some over-weight bloated animal and throw him in a cage.
ReplyDelete10:37, your crying is annoying. These are volunteers who are not sucking up city resources to build a trail that is becoming nationally known. Jeez, kwiturbitchin and gripe about something that is truly bad news... like Jim Rowland, for instance.
