Luckily, there will chalk drawing on the streets of Kansas City this weekend that won't include outlines for dead bodies.
The best part of this news is that denizens of the local blogosphere will have a chance to check out the work of May's Machete who will be showcasing some of her amazing art work for the event.
The Chalk & Walk Festival at Crown Center is one of those great events where it's obvious that there are a great many talented people in this town as evidenced by all the amazing drawing on the street. It's definitely worth a look.

ReplyDeleteThe chalk outline image was an idea I had for a cartoon back for the April Chalk Walk in Historic Northeast, but I felt it was too cynical for an event that I was excited to be participating in.
