I mostly spit a lot of criticism toward this cowtown but while walking down the street to pick up a burrito from the bodega on my block I was surprised and encouraged to see a bit of cultural pride on display. It has been nearly a month since Cinco De Mayo but I thought of the flag as just another reminder of so many diverse communities that proudly call Kansas City Home.
I didn't know the bluebird serves burritos or Mexicans.
