The Westside Is Dark And Wet Tonight

The great thing about living among the po'folk, hipsters, immigrants and many other people residing on the Westside is that we never believed that B.S. about "A City That Works" so the fact that power is off in most of my neighborhood this evening after a mild Spring rain in the urban core isn't much of a surprise. During the Spring Storm Season infrastructure regularly kicks off in this part of town and so many real estate schemes dependent on gentrification are in the same boat as even the newest Mexican arrival.

And while none of this makes me really mad and it really accurately reflects life in Kansas City, I still think I'm gonna "use" a recent photo gallery featuring Collien Fernandes to "relax" while my computer is still kicking.

More links and content on the way hopefully . . . Stay tuned.
