Council Lady Sharon Sanders Brooks is on her way out but not without a great deal of whining.
Reports from AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS tell us that the 3rd District Council Lady is complaining about some fines sent her way.
While I feel sorry for anybody facing fines, I can't help but note that she was close to 120 days without meeting campaign reporting requirements as noted in a previous TKC post.
Again, I'm not gloating but I do think that maybe she'll have less to complain about when she's out of office . . . Or at least fewer people will pay attention.
Sharon is small fry. We still hold the record!
ReplyDeleteKC PRIDE also endorsed a candidate for state representative who is not even on the ballot. Genius!
ReplyDeleteThat club is an embarrassment to the LGBT Community, and democracy in general.
As for Sharon, she is a mess and as crooked as a dog's hind leg.
No wonder everything is falling apart in Kansas City. Look at the low-grade morons who pass for a political class in this town.
Sour grapes ... its a democracy. Why don't you run for an office & join the political class?
ReplyDeletefunner to throw rocks from the outside.
ReplyDeleteSharon Brooks is mad? Ah HELL! Staff will be taking a beating from her this week.
Wow what a week she had. A fine and blasted in the Call newspaper this week. I mean blasted.
ReplyDeletewhat was fine?
ReplyDelete@ Charles ethics commission fine
ReplyDeleteShe got fined, big deal.
ReplyDeleteDoes the commission happen to have a way to make her pay them.
What can they do, take away her license plates...
Better hop into that get up she's waving around in this picture and work off her fine.
ReplyDeletetrue dat.
ReplyDeleteWTF did KC Pride do now?
ReplyDeleteThat pick was not KC PRIDE's fault.
ReplyDeleteWe were told by Chris Moreno that his candidate would be placed back on the ballot as soon as a minor misunderstanding concerning mailing addresses with the ethics committee was smoothed over?
How were we to know that Moreno just flat out lied to us? I do not think I was the only one to misunderstand that Moreno's candidate was actually removed from the ballot by state officials.
The blame rests with Chris Moreno and not KC PRIDE.
Sounds like trouble in paradise.
