The legacy of Mudfest is still having an impact on local LGBT festivities but their spirits remain high as their party moves closer.
An AWESOME TKC TIPSTER provides some important details:
"ONLY the parade has been canceled. The Pride festival is going strong at Richard Berkley Park. The only reason the parade was canceled was because it was physically impossible to reschedule it and close off streets with just two weeks notice. There has not been a parade in years - I think the last one was 2002, so it's not like this year will be different than others in recent years."
So, members of the LGBT community in Kansas City proves they can juggle things around (heh) but their big celebration remains intact. The more you know . . .
