In an infamous case, Matthew K. Davis allegedly abandoned a corpse in a rug but some legal gamesmanship became so convoluted that he didn't serve much time.
In another Johnson County case last year, Davis was charged with driving under the influence and possession of heroin, according to court records and according to The Star.
In April he was caught up in a dine and dash and allegedly almost hit a cop with his car door while fleeing the scene.
His most recent offense is a police chase that did quite a bit of property damage and a mugshot that makes him look like Chuck Manson.
I'm pretty sure that if anybody else would have racked up this list of charges they'd be buried under a jail by now . . . But apparently the guy is rather rich, and time and time again it's proven that's all it takes to stay out of the clink in this cowtown.

And that's why this jackass took out my car fleeing from police five years ago. Was he even charged? Nope!
ReplyDeleteThis guy was in my high school class. He was always in trouble even back to the junior high years. Oh, and btw, he didn't allegedly abandon a corpse...he was found guilty of that charge twice now. Did you read the paper the other day where his attorney said he had legitimate defenses in all of these cases? The guy is a complete loser and menace to society. They need to lock him up and throw away the key.
ReplyDeleteThats my dad.. and some people do bad things but we have to try to forgive them .. i have been forgiving him for the last 15 year.. i just wish i could see him more
