Credit TKC for being the first to point out that Zach Greinke was overrated.
We're getting closer to mid-season and Zach Greinke has only one measly win.
Racists disguised as sports fans wanted to defend the Greinke by claiming I didn't know what I was talking about . . . But here we are:
Currently, ust about everybody in the sports world noticed Greinke and the Royals smacked around recently.
Sadly, too few have acknowledged my conclusion that is proven correct with every embarrassing loss the guy racks up:
KANSAS CITY'S RACISM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROMOTING THE GREAT WHITE HYPE GREINKE FAR PAST HIS SKILL LEVEL!!!
Sad thing is, people think I don't like the guy and that's not really the point. Of course Greinke is a talented pitcher and in time he could be great . . . But not in Kansas City. Sadly, a glimpse of talent is just enough for local sports fans to go ga-ga and the fact it was a white dude who showed a bit of promise just led the racist sports fans into overdrive.
It's almost sad to see this town in such desperate need of a white hero.
Still, just like all false idols, the guy's over-hyped reputation is being exposed as a fraud and the fantasies of this cowtown just make Kansas City baseball fans look even more silly than people who would follow a team after nearly a generation without a significant win.
My only hope is that Grienke shakes off the dust of this town and ignores so many acolytes who have distorted reality to sing the praises of a player who is slightly above average but, for the moment, still just another loser like the rest of the Royals.
But how can you hate him? He is everything the Glass family wants: White, rural and stupid.

"White, rural and stupid." That's pretty stereotypical and racist, isn't it? There are some pockets of real poverty in rural areas, I will admit, but don't rural schools in general have higher graduation rates and higher test scores than the inner city? Would you write about someone being "black, urban and stupid"? I would not, but I also would not write about someone being white, rural and stupid.

TKC, idiotic and proud of it! Note this: On Wed., May 19, a Sporting News panel named Grienke the 15th best player in baseball today.
ReplyDeleteSporting News' voting panel included 18 Hall of Famers, 12 Cy Young award winners, 8 MVPs, 15 rookies of the year, 3 batting champions, 3 home run champions, 9 Silver Slugger award winners, 18 Gold Glove winners, 6 ERA champions, 4 World Series MVPs, 2 relievers of the year, 7 managers of the year, 5 former executives, 6 media members and 9 team broadcasters.
I wonder who is more believable, TKC or Sporting News?
