Two dead bodies, now identified were murdered this week and then dumped into a shopping cart. Basically, the murder scene was an affront to Kansas City's humanity.
If barbarous murders like this one go unsolved, there really is no hope for this town.
Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).

DEar Tony: Thanks, as always, for posting news of the city's crime problems--problems that all-too-many of the city's "leaders" want swept under the rug. Trend lines on crime in black sections of KCMO not looking good: So far in 2010 we are at 34 black homicides (9 white/asian/hispanic homicides). At this point in 2007, before current homicide surge in black sections began in the spring of 2008, we were at 22 black homicides and 12 white/asian/hispanic homicides. (Figures taken from annual reports, KCPD site continues to have computer problems.) Sincerely, Respectfully and In Christ, Ernest Evans
ReplyDeleteSo Earnie, give us the extract version of what you think can be done to lower the killings... and what did the city fail to do to prevent this?
ReplyDeleteDid you see that comment on the other website that said those in the Hookers' innercircle knew what happened but won't say unless there's money being offered?
Love to hear your take on that, fare more interesting than keeping scores.
This has been going on in minority communities for decades in the US. Stopping it must either be more difficult than you tyhink it is, or city hall is out to see the taxpayers need to kill each other.
Lets see some wisdom in this thread!
Dear 4:13 Anonymous: Thanks for your note!!! Actually, I have written several articles and a number of memos about the KCMO crime situation and what needs to be done--happy to send them to you for your thoughts!! (The memos have been widely read in the KCPD.) My email is eevans66048@hotmail.com--send me an email address and I will promptly send you all of my memos. In Christ, Ernest Evans
ReplyDeleteI simply asked for the headline version. Ya know, just a couple paragraphs.
ReplyDeleteAnd your view of the comment about the Hooker brothers inner circle knowing what happened.
Clearly his auntie doesn't know, or isn't telling. Having your car shot up and your bodies stuffed in shopping carts seems pretty much like a justice execution to ME. That isnt' usually what happens to a couple cherub choirboys. Is it?
wtf? Is it that hard for white people to show empathy.
ReplyDeleteDo you show empathy when one sect of arab religious nuts kills another arab religious nuts?
ReplyDeleteDepends on what the hooker boys were doing. If they were running a gang scam and it blew up on em, well not too much empathy.
btw, dead bodies can't be murdered. People are murdered, not bodies.
ReplyDeleteI just hope a composite sketch of the suspect is not a person of color. That would obviously be racial profiling.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the guy currently being questioned by KCPD knows what happened and if he is involved I hope that he is charged. Thanks to the community for giving good tips. This family deserves our best efforts to solve this gruesome murder.
ReplyDeleteThese boys look like they were fathered by two different men. Where have THEY been all this time, these 'brothers' raised by an auntie?
ReplyDeleteMy view is that a boy can't learn how to be a man except from one.
Hate to burst the bubble of the feminists, but women just aren't very good at raising boys. It takes dads. And if America's culture is to get the dads out of childraising, this culture is destined for failure.
Maybe we should abandon marriage among two adults and go back to the caveman culture where humans gathered into small groups like extended families...like small tribes. Maybe direct parents just aren't equipped to raise their own children alone.
Maybe Hillary was right. It DOES take a community! Just for grins, go rent "Quest for Fire". Learn a lot about our species.
Let me rephrase that. Imagine that when mothers' little boys in cave man times reached puberty, became stronger, wanted to join the hunt with the elders to seek food for the group, mothers handed them over the the males of the small tribe to teach them how to hunt, how to become men and warriors, and not lunch for a sabre toothed tiger.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's how human males should be raised. Not by women who nurtured them until they were ready to move on and take their places in the tribe as men!
