This post is really more of a hint at our Mayor's vast array of political problems. On the encouragement of a great many people I actually listened to the Mayor's conversation with Steve Kraske this week and now I'm convinced that he's completely out of his depth when it comes to his job and this long gone rep as someone who can create "A City That Works."
The Mayor promised a great many things to Kraske and had some interesting ideas . . .

It's like listening to child crying for some needful thing or a chubby blonde not understanding that I'm on a budget. The Mayor so desperately wants some kind of credibility but his grand schemes are nothing more than the same kind of expense that has nearly ruined this town's credit during The Great Recession.
So much for "Smart with the Money."
Nobody cares about Schools First.
The Mayor isn't going to get a blank check from the public to start his campaign.
He still doesn't know how to file a campaign finance report.
And the more frustration he runs into . . . The more politically dangerous and desperate he seems to get.
Developing . . .

ReplyDeleteThe thing the Co-mayors dont get is KC tuned them out long ago. It doesnt matter what media venue they choose. The city is looking forward and no one cares any more what they think.They need to get over themselves.

Schools first is redicules. We have 14 school districts in kc and only one near receivership. Covington and the new school board are on the right tract.Leave them alone. The school district has wasted tax payer money long enough.If Covington makes progress than we can decide.

ReplyDeleteTall and skinny ... slouched-over posture ... bad teeth ... goofy voice ... bad complexion. Was never cool; always the "outsider". So he's tried to make the "outsider" image appear that it is something HE chose rather. But of course it was thrust upon him -- he had no choice.
He's always been angry; that' why he cannot, indeed WILL NOT "stoop" to working with anyone else ... will not consider others' views. BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL SO MEAN TO HIM WHEN HE WAS YOUNG. Sadly, he really is now a hopeless man raging inside. He wants to be someone that others will have regard for. But he does not know how.

been voting for decades, ass wipe. Knew John Anderson was a spoiler, helped to keep Bush's (both of them) numbers down. Started volunteering in campaigns in my early teens.
