Count on Mary Sanchez and The Star for the most convoluted local column of the day. From briefly skimming the article, she argues that opposition to Fred Phelps is patriotic but not if it encumbers Free Speech . . . Unfortunately, ignoring the dude is more effective than either tactic.
TKC NOTE: Writing about the hateful Kansas dude is a great topic for authors who have completely run out of ideas whereas mocking Mary Sanchez never gets old.

Doesn't it, like, completely SUCK that fake minister Fred Phelps manages to get so much attention for his malpractice, that he gets dragged to the UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT?
ReplyDeleteIt's bad enough smut publisher Flynn gets such a prominent day in court so we can see female, legs wide, snatch.
But here's this religious nut desecrating the funerals of men who died for their country... and the Supreme Court has to give this dirtclod time?
I know, I know. I love the Bill of Rights and I'm so glad most cases have to do with individuals against the tyranny of self-righteous democracy assholes trying to tell us how to live!
But do assholes like Phfred Phfelps have to be the centerpieces of our Phirst Amendment phreedoms? That soo sucks!
