The most interesting item in the local news features the paper of record patting themselves on the back just like the average blogger: "A series of stories about airbags in Enterprise Rent-A-Car vehicles by Kansas City Star reporters Rick Montgomery and Dan Margolies was named a finalist Tuesday for a prestigious business journalism award."
And whenever I think about Star business reporting I remind myself that Biz section columnists predicted "resiliency" at the outset of The Great Recession and KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS were well ahead of everybody in town in their reporting of H&R Block Layoffs this month.
And all of this happened while we were keeping an eye on the airbags of models like Jodie Marsh.
